What a great time we had celebrating John David's birthday. We had it at a local farm/pumpkin patch and enjoyed being with our friends and family. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time!

John David gave Carson his Spiderman pajamas that don't fit anymore. This was a big sacrifice. It was really sweet. Carson was so happy that he started dancing!!!! It was so funny!

John David LOVES the Wii and I swear he is better than Trent :) Tennis is his favorite game then golf. I am struggling with how long should I let him play. He plays so hard that he actually gets out of breath. I guess I could say he is exercising....at least that thought makes me feel better!

I ran to the car to get something and when I got back Carson was asleep in his high chair!!!! He has never done that before. I guess his first morning of Mother's Morning Out really wore him out :)

We love our new neighborhood and especially our neighbors! We have such a great time together. We spent today hanging out and eating lots of good food! The kids also had a blast :)

Today I celebrate 9 amazing years with Trent!!!! I am not really in awe that we have been married for 9 years, I am more amazed at the man God brought into my life. Over 12 years ago I met Trent for the first time one early evening in Atlanta, we attended a bible study together that was being taught by Louie Giglio. Our two aunts set us up on a "friend/blind date" and well let's just say the rest was history.

Immediately I knew he was different. The more I got to know him the more I saw God's amazing hand on his life. We instantly connected and realized we had so many of the same dreams and most importantly we both had the call to ministry. I enjoyed just hanging out with him and getting to know his family. He was thoughtful, sweet, funny and everyone who knew him LOVED him. He had an amazing reputation and without a doubt a man of integrity. I can remember saying goodbye to him at Southeastern Seminary, I knew our time apart would be the ultimate test. During that time I realized I could not live without him and I was praying he was feeling the same. A year later on December 19th he surprised me with a romantic evening, a beautiful ring and a surprise party with all our friends and family. It was a dream come true.

Nine years ago at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on July 31st, after an hour and half ceremony (that is a whole different story), I married Trenton Douglas Peacock. The man I knew without a shadow of a doubt was made for me, the one I had been waiting for, was standing at the end of the isle waiting for me. In that moment I only saw him and had a peace that could only come from God. What a moment, it was everything I had ever dreamed of. My heart was racing so fast and I couldn't wait to be standing beside him. Once I had arrived at his side I was so calm and happy. I didn't think I could love someone so much!

Now nine years later I feel the same. In fact being married is so weird because I feel like I am not complete without him. Trent, you are my everything, the person my hearts still skips a beat for, the man I long for when we are not together, the very first person I want to share the details of my day with, you are still the one that I want to lay my eyes on before I go to bed and the first person I want to look at when I wake in the morning. I love you more and more every year, thank you for being the man that God has called you to be! I am forever yours.

I love preschool! Not only because John David has made great friends but I have also. Here are pictures of John David at Cooper's birthday party. JD and Cooper have been in preschool since they were babies and Connor and Andrew joined them last year, it feels like we have known Connor and Andrew forever. Plus Connor and Andrew live right around the corner. I love their moms Courtney and Neva, we have a great time together :)

Yesterday was a month since we lost our dear friend Wade. We miss you Wade! Please continue to keep his family in your prayers. His wife Lisa went back to work. Trent loves having her back but wishes he could make the pain go away. His daughter Lisa is home for the summer. Jordan is back in CO at the Navy Academy and Michael is a Navy Seal serving somewhere out of the country. We love you Lisa, Michael, Jordan and Erin!

Here is a picture of Trent and the students from North Campus. They also had another 5 people from the main campus. I love this picture. We are so blessed. The students we have are amazing. They are so fun to be with and have a huge heart to serve God. I just wish I was able to go with them. After the boys grow up I look forward to going on trips like this with Trent.

WOW, I can't believe my brother was actually in Charlotte. It was so good to see him and he was finally able to meet Carson. The kids loved him. He left today with my mom to go to a wedding in TN but is coming back on Sunday to stay another night with me! I am very excited. Hopefully more pictures to come :)

We had such a great time at our annual Memorial Day vacation with the Peacocks! All the cousins played so well together and as always Grammie and Paw Paw were a blast to be with! You will see a picture of my 3 week old nephew Garrett, he is precious and I enjoyed holding him as much as I could. I look forward to July 4th when the family can be together again!

My nephew Ben with a mild black eye. Him and John David sure do love each other but they can also duke it out. We are not sure if JD gave him this black eye but after observing those two it is very possible.

This is a picture of my wonderful friend Wade. On Monday he went to be with the Lord. I met him 6 years ago. As long as Trent and I have been at Hickory Grove I can remember Wade being a part of our ministry and our life.

As Trent was finishing up seminary we were praying for the church God would call us to. Along with praying for God's direction of the church we would serve I was also praying for godly men to come along side Trent to be there for him through the ups and downs of ministry. Wade was one of these people. Wade was always looking out for Trent, he was our biggest cheerleader, we could count on him, he served faithfully, he would get down and dirty on the hard things, he cried with us, prayed with us, celebrated our biggest victories, laughed with us and I could go on and on. For all these years Wade was almost always the first person we would see on Sunday mornings. Always there before us to make sure the doors were open, the music was playing, that chairs were in place, coffee made, powerpoint ready and then would greet everyone with a great big smile. I love this man. He was at our outreach events ready to do anything, he was one of our camp directors for the last three years, he was Trent's Sunday School director. This week I have often asked myself, Lord, I can't imagine ministry without him. Lord, you know how much we need him, you know how much Trent counts on him, Lord what are we going to do? Then the Lord gently reminds me that our life is in his hands and I have to trust him. If this is how I feel how does his wife and children feel. Lord please comfort them and fill them with your love.

Not only did we do ministry together we lived life together. We saw both of his kids go through high school and graduate. I can remember going to Vance football games and watching Erin cheer. I can remember the day Jordan got the recommendation letter to go to the academy. I can still picture Lisa's desk at work filled with pictures of her family, it was always obvious how much they all loved each other. I loved Wade's jambalaya. We had many meals together. Wade and I had so many heart to hearts. We had a strong relationship. As I write this images of him walking through the youth area fill me heart, I can see him on the golf cart at camp with one leg hanging out making sure everything was running smooth, I can see him in our church lobby signing people up for whatever we had going on in the youth department, I can see him sitting in front of me at church with his arm gently around his wife, I can picture him and Trent behind the computer just talking and laughing, I can see him holding my boys and loving them like his own, I can hear his voice on the other line, I can see his beautiful smile, I can see him hugging Erin and Jordan. Lord thank you for the time we had with Wade.

Not many people knew how smart Wade was and how successful he was in his job. He was always so humble. Trent and I always felt so grateful that we could glean from the amazing gifts God had given him. He taught Trent and I so many valuable lessons. It is not very often that you see a man who is president of a company put his family first. He always made time for family and ministry. What a testimony, he was very successful and still made time for family, friends and ministry. It just shows others that being successful does not have to cost you your family and ministry. He lived this out everyday.

Today I will attend his viewing and tomorrow his funeral. It still seems like I am in a dream. As I reflect on his life I am reminded of the things that matter most. I pray that I will keep my family first always. Wade had many memories of his kids. He did not hesitate to fly to CO to see Jordan or take the weekend to drive up to State to see Erin. Him and Lisa were always together, there relationship was blessed. I will continue to serve God with my whole heart and serve others. It is been such a joy to see so many people pass through the Roberts home this week. Wade touched many lives. I pray I will always make time for others. He served with his whole heart and with a commitment. Wade was dependable, when he said he was going to do something he did it. I pray that I will always be dependable.

Wade, I love you. Thank you for investing in my life. I will always thank God for bringing you into my families life. I will see you again.

Trent and I on a dinner cruise in Destin, FL! We had a great time at the conference. We made so many wonderful friends, were encouraged and had lots of much needed alone time! It was a great week but we did miss our babies and we are glad to be home with them :)

Carson's Dedication
Here we are on stage. Joe is the one dedicating Carson. He also dedicated John David and is also Trent's boss. We are close to him and his wife and love them very much. At our church we call it a rosebud. You get on stage and they present you with a rose, children's bible and letter from our pastor. Then they pray over you as a family as you dedicate to raise a godly child. It is special, even though I hate being on stage. The kids did great!

Here we are after church with Trent's parents. It was a great morning even though right after this picture we went outside to find out that their car was broken into along with two other people. They had a long drive back to GA with a broken window.
